Milken Educator Award recipient Thomas Dennison gives Mike Milken, co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, a tour of his fifth-grade classroom. Dennison creates an atmosphere of celebration in his class, playing music during transitions or to build students' excitement. All day long, students high-five, clap, and bang drums when classmates offer correct answers, showing their appreciation for each other and recognizing their peers' successes.
