Milken Award winner Nicki Derryberry shares a moment with Red Mountain High School Principal Jared Ryan after her surprise notification ceremony. In addition to her outstanding work with students at Red Mountain High, Derryberry serves as the School Improvement Committee's representative and biotechnology team leader. A proactive mentor, she presents at the district and state levels on STEM research and instructional best practices.
