Sioux Falls English Teacher Gina Benz Joins SD Milken Award Winners

Once a teacher, always a teacher: Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley, a former teacher and principal who won Indiana's Milken Educator Award herself in 1994, talks animatedly with students in 2015-16 South Dakota Milken Award winner Gina Benz's classroom at Roosevelt High School. Benz works with students at both ends of the spectrum: In addition to teaching AP Language and Composition, she also teaches Foundations of Language and Composition, a class for struggling learners that includes ELL and special education students.
