Teresa Chan Seidel is OR's 2013–14 Milken Educator

 

 

Oregon Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction Rob Saxton asks the students of Robert Gray Middle School what they want to be when they grow up. “Think what it is that you want to have and to be when you’re 22 years old. You have the opportunity to be preparing right now with your education,” he tells them.

Moments later—to show them just how high they can soar—Mr. Saxton announced the 2013–14 winner of the Milken Educator Award for Oregon, Teresa Chan Seidel.
