2018 MEA Congressional Reception

 

“Today we celebrate a group of 75 teachers who are leaders in their field,” says Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, at the 2018 Milken Educator Awards Forum Congressional Reception, where Milken Educator Award recipients and legislators are gathered to discuss important issues in education. The role of the teacher leader is a hot topic: “We need to offer greater leadership roles for these educators,” says Lowell Milken.
