As a physics teacher and the technology coordinator at East Anchorage High School in Anchorage, William Ennis makes his computer-assisted physics lessons available to students both in the classroom and at home via the school's Intranet system. Through this system, students are able to access Interactive Physics and commercial modeling software to research and conduct experiments on various physics topics, the results of which they then upload to the Intranet for review. Recently, he has been training teachers for the piloting of the district's first "cyberclass," an English course available on the Internet. He also serves as technology coordinator for various educational conferences, such as the Alaska Society for Technology in Education conference.
