Theresa Kiger, a principal at Roy Clark Elementary School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Kiger was teaching the district's first Multiage first and second grade class when she won the award in 2000. The following year she began as the assistant principal at Roy Clark Elementary. In 2002, she became the principal. Over the past ten years, Mrs. Kiger has lead her staff in becoming a National Community School of Excellence.
