Suzanne Henning teaches grades four through six at Tanana City School. Widely recognized for her creativity in the classroom, and for working effectively with children of different linguistic and cultural backgrounds, she is adept at fostering cooperative learning and making students feel genuinely cared for. Her interdisciplinary approach teaches students that learning is an integrated experience, advanced by the hands-on projects assigned in her classes. Ms. Henning's students are well traveled, thanks to class trips she organizes and finances through students fund-raisers.
