Susan Carter is a National Board Certified teacher and winner of multiple education awards including the Presidential Award for Mathematics and Science Teaching (2008) and the PBS Innovative Teacher Award (2011). Her writing has appeared in well-known educational journals such as The Reading Teacher and Teaching Children Mathematics. Susan is passionate about educating the whole child. Her interest in mathematics education has led to many opportunities for her students and district. She is currently teaching kindergarten at Glenridge Elementary School in Clayton, Missouri.
