Scott DeVries is a social studies teacher at Fossil Ridge High School. His teaching assignment includes 9th grade Pre-AP world history, 11th grade American history and 12th grade American government. DeVries has created a comprehensive online classroom for all his classes. The online classroom provides general course information and standards, summaries of reading assignments, hyperlinked assignment calendars, sample test questions and grades. The online classroom also stores DeVries' virtual library containing all of his Smartboard videos. These videos are created live in class and include all the graphics, student interaction and audio from the Smartboard. DeVries has presented his ideas and experiences on teaching students to use the World Wide Web at Colorado's Technology in Education Conference.
