Sarah Meece, business education teacher at Larry A. Ryle High School in Union, was instrumental in developing the RYBLUS program, a partnership between Ryle and the local business community that provides students with everything from scholarships and library books to career days and community service projects. Mrs. Meece has also helped develop a Pre-National Leadership Conference for all Kentucky students participating in the Future Business Leaders of America National Competition. The conference, which provides students with educational and motivational training, has helped Kentucky students win numerous awards each year at the competition. Working with a fellow teacher, Mrs. Meece recently obtained a grant for a new computer lab and developed a curriculum that includes eight classes in computer applications.
