Ronald Bright was regarded as one of the nation's top five high school musical theater directors by the Leaders of Thespian Societies. As Castle High School's drama teacher, Mr. Bright was a uniquely talented educator who learned the secret of motivating students at all educational levels and truly believed in student potential. Working with a variety of students, Mr. Bright challenged each to "reach a little higher" to become the best that he or she could be. Despite the many years in teaching, Mr. Bright managed to retain his original enthusiasm for his profession. For 27 years, his productions often won national acclaim at the annual International Thespian Society Festival.
