Marie Z. Sullivan is a Gifted and Talented Education science teacher at Sabin Junior High School in Colorado Springs. Known among the staff and in the community as the Matron of Science, her reputation has spread statewide and across the country as a science curriculum expert. Quick to share her expertise in the interest of making better teachers, Ms. Sullivan is a mentor to others within her school and beyond. She is involved in career education, student government and the Science Olympiad, and is the recipient of the Presidential Award in Science.
