Marcia Raubenstrauch has taught K-12 with being assigned different position over her thirty-seven years of experience as an educator. In the fall of 2015 she will begin a new educational experience as STEAM/Gifted Teacher K-5. In 2018 she was honored as Pennsylvania's Agriculture Teacher of the Year. Raubenstrauch has provided numerous community-oriented activities for her students through cooperative partnerships with organizations such as the YMCA, the Appalachian Arts Studio and the Elk County Historical Society, She has also written for and participated in a Web site called ExplorePAHistory, and has presented workshops about the site at various intermediate units throughout Pennsylvania Marcia has also worked with the PDE on committees and stays active in Girl Scouts. She grant writes every year to provide needed funds for her school and students. Recently in 2020 the Allstate Foundation awarded her a community grant that are allowing her students to "care for their school community during this COVID-19 crisis. She always loves to learn and always is looking for opportunities to improve her students' learning experience.
