Entering her 20th year as a teacher, Linda Murray is an expert in the field of innovative teaching. When introducing new subjects to her social science classes at Hyde Park Career Academy in Chicago, Ms. Murray may draw an impromptu map on the floor, take her students to various religious services in order to compare cultural differences or develop exciting learning activities such as Black History Alive.
