Prior to his appointment as principal and superintendent in 1988, Larry Plew was not only a teacher counselor, but also dean of students at Trinity High School. Mr. Plew's leadership abilities and dedication have transformed a problem school into an award-winning California Distinguished School in 1990. Known as an innovative problem-solver, Mr. Plew has created a highly communicative environment that brings teachers into the decision-making process and gives them greater responsibilities and authority. His perspective and visions are illustrated in his continued efforts to "bring a small town educational system within the scope and direction of educational reform occurring throughout the state."
