Kathy Tricomo is currently a Supervisor of Elementary ELA Instruction for Saint Clair County RESA, but has served in many roles as an educator including principal, curriculum specialist, instructional technology trainer, literacy trainer, and teacher mentor to name a few. She is currently working to instill a love of reading through the 10 Essential Literacy Practices and the implementation of the requirements of the Third Grade Reading Law. She works with a wonderful team to promote literacy and implement innovative programs such as “Lit. Fix,” “Book Nooks,” and “The Reading Adventure Program.” She is the author of a middle grade book called Unsalted, A Freshwater Mermaid Tale.
