Jeanne Sink teaches broadcast journalism and television production at Hanahan High School in Hanahan, South Carolina. In 1992, Mrs. Sink was named Teacher of the Year by the South Carolina State Department of Education. In January of 1995 she was one of the first 81 teachers in the nation (and one of the first six in South Carolina) to become National Board Certified. In her current position she has a broadcast facility equivalent to those found at professional television studios, which her students use to produce the school's news program as well as other individual projects.
