Teaching theater arts in Audubon Junior High School in Los Angeles is Herb Holland's specialty. Recently selected teacher/researcher for the National Arts Education Center at New York University, he is an outstanding role model for teachers in the areas of both curriculum development and instruction. It is his belief that combining theater arts with language arts motivates and enhances the skills of all students. Described by his peers as and outstanding educator, Mr. Holland has also received public acclaim for his achievement in keeping the arts alive in Los Angeles; he is the recipient of the prestigious "Bravo Award" by the Los Angeles Music Center.
