Evie Andrews has taught at Tualatin Elementary School for over 20 years. An educator with boundless energy, this winner of the Christa McAuliffe Fellowship founded and organized the Invention Convention for student inventors statewide. She also organized the National Creative Conference with the help of colleagues, and wrote a grant that earned Tualatin recognition as a National Exemplary School. A Teacher of the Year in 1984, Ms. Andrews serves on a variety of local and state committees, including the State Textbook Commission. She has a well-earned reputation as a role model for educators in her district and throughout the state.
