In addition to teaching science at Eagle Valley Middle School in Carson City, Eric Anderson served as the district's science coordinator and led its K-12 Science Advisory Team. In this capacity, Mr. Anderson co-designed a high-school-level role-playing simulation called ChemCorp at an area high school that involved the production, marketing and distribution of real products made with acids, bases and other chemicals. He created a Robotic Puppets unit for the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts, in which students applied Newtonian mechanics to the design, construction and operation of robots. Mr. Anderson was an instructor at the Educational Field Studies Global Discovery Lab in Lake Tahoe.
