Dr. Janet Pladson is the out-of-state licensing specialist for the Minnesota Board of School Administrators. Previously, she was the Director of Teaching and Learning for the Eden Prairie Schools, the Assistant Superintendent for Bloomington Public Schools in Bloomington. Also, Dr. Pladson was principal of Hubert Olson Elementary School in Bloomington, where she brought technology to hundreds of students, from kindergarten to sixth grade, by developing partnerships with the local business community, acquiring new computers and assuring that every teacher in the school had access to one. In addition, Dr. Pladson also implemented a "Discovery Time" program at the school's computer lab, allowing students to have learning opportunities outside the traditional curriculum.
