Dr. J. Todd White is currently the President and CEO of his own educational consulting firm, PhocuseD on Learning. PhocuseD on Learning, which began in 2009, works with schools and district in 16 states providing support with a broad range of educational issues. Prior to starting PhocuseD on Learning, he was the Senior Vice President of the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. White spent five years as an elementary school teacher before moving into administration. He has been acknowledged as the First Union Administrator of the Year, the South Carolina PTA Principal of the Year, a National Distinguished Principal, and in 2002, Furman University Outstanding Young Alumni. Mr. White received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina and his PhD from Capella University.
