Diane Price-Stone teaches primary grades at Philomath Elementary School in Philomath. Currently a national finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Elementary Mathematics Teaching, she has shared her teaching strategies both statewide and nationally. She has also served on numerous curriculum writing teams for the Oregon Mathematics Education Council and the Oregon Department of Education. An outstanding classroom teacher as well as a leader in professional circles. Ms. Price-Stone received the Oregon Award for Excellence in Elementary and Secondary Teaching in 1990, and is a former recipient of the Linn-Benton A2E2 Distinguished Teacher Award.
