Diane MacKenzie collaborates with local and state Career and Technical Education stakeholders as Career Pathways Specialist to develop an enhance programs in Human Services, Education and International Studies (HSEIS) at Atherton, Seneca, and Fairdale High Schools. She also performs as a subject-matter expert with all of the district programs in the Human Services career cluster. She has led a HSEIS Design Team of business and community leaders as the team reorganized into a districtwide Partnership Council and school Partner Teams. She developed professional Career Pathways and Articulated/Dual Credit agreements for dozens of career majors in HSEIS. She assists other Specialists and schools as she monitors pathways and agreements for the entire district. She has planned laboratory facilities and obtained/ordered equipment, and otherwise led implementation of career theme-related reform of three high schools. She has effectively managed the organizational, problem-solving, and communications challenges that arise in such a paradigm-shifting reform effort.
