Cosetta Moore serves as Elementary Social Science Specialist for the Los Angeles Unified School District, a position which makes her responsiible for the social science curriculum in the district's 413 elementary schools. Sensitive to ethnic diversity and varying levels of learning ability, Ms. Moore commissioned a new district curriculum for grades four through six which integrates various subjects and engages community involvement. She has also recruited a team of teachers to implement history and geography reforms. Ms. Moore is highly respected for her creativity, interpersonal skills and dynamic leadership abilities.
