Arthur Reisman is approaching his 30th anniversary as an English teacher at East Leyden High School in Franklin Park. Tireless in his efforts to inspire students to think for themselves, Mr. Reisman is helping to restructure the English curriculum at East Leyden as well as serving in a number of capacities outside the classroom. He coaches the East Leyden Athletic Team, he has developed workshops to promote leadership skills, and he has created Project Apathy, a program designed to combat student indifference. Always creative in developing successful teaching techniques, he is a talented educator best characterized by his desire to "cause students to think."
