Anne Loughlin is a founding faculty member at Casco Bay High School for Expeditionary Learning, Maine's newest public high school. In her three years at CBHS, Brown has helped develop a number of school structures and co-designed several learning expeditions, including a Biology-Art expedition called "Red Gold," in which ninth-grade students educated upperclassmen about blood and blood donation and created promotional posters for the local Red Cross Blood Donation Center. Students also recruited, scheduled and helped Red Cross workers at the first annual CBHS Blood Drive. Brown has been very involved in the school design process, from the initial planning committee prior to the opening of the school to the school's leadership team.
