My name is Alyson Mike, Ed.D. and I serve as the Program Manager of the Montana Statewide Mentoring Program. With over 20 years in the classroom and 11 years working for a national non-profit, I bring a depth of background and experiences to my work. I am an award-winning classroom teacher, with over two decades of experience designing, presenting and facilitating learning for both students and adults. I have designed and facilitated training for clients in both the US and internationally utilizing research and effective practices in adult learning theory. With my curriculum and instruction background,I am a passionate educator who believes all learning should be engaging and relevant to the learner. I have spent my career designing learning that moves the needle for all types of learning. I start with the question - what should a learner know, be able to do and demonstrate in a specific context?
The result is a learner who pushes their own boundaries for learning. Regardless of the modality, I serve as a facilitator of learning and help learners find their potential. I am on a mission to create learning experiences that matter.
