Eva Irwin Joins VA Milken Educators

 

 

As her surprise Milken Educator Award assembly draws to a close, English teacher Eva Irwin takes a moment to catch her breath. A leader in the building and community, Irwin also serves as the substitute assistant principal, the grade 11 English team professional learning community (PLC) lead, the English department’s representative on the Staff Advisory Council, and a member of the school’s Culture and Climate Committee. Many students also get to know her on the court as an assistant coach to the varsity volleyball team, which she helped lead to a state championship in 2022, and as head coach for junior varsity volleyball!
