Back in the classroom, Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken talks with Alex Lahasky and his students. Alex brings creativity to his classroom: He follows the Socratic method and conventional lectures to spark students' imagination with open-ended questions that stimulate conversation and higher-order inquiry. Specific activities, like a spy simulation during the Cold War unit, bring history to life.
