AL's Korri Cunningham Surprised With Milken Award

 

 

IB coordinator and Milken Educator Award recipient Korri Cunningham addresses the assembly gathered in her honor. She says she knew she wanted to become a teacher in kindergarten, acknowledging the impact of her first teacher. "Mrs. Van Hooser had such an impact on my life," Korri recalls. "I spent a lot of my naptime just watching her because I knew that I needed to be just like her. She had a wealth of knowledge and she treated each of us like we were her world."
