AR Milken Educators Welcome Emily Howard

 

 

Emily Howard calls her sister Amy to share the news about her Milken Educator Award, including the $25,000 cash prize. She hands the phone to Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders: "Your sister was just honored in front of her whole school as one of the best teachers in Arkansas and the country," says the governor. Amy was the person who inspired Emily to pursue a career in education. "Everything that I am as an educator is from you," Emily tells her sister.
