Strumming on ukeleles, Inouye Elementary students perform the school song. Formerly known as Hale Kula Elementary, the school has taught Army children who reside on Schofield Barracks since 1959. Schofield housed the legendary 442nd Regimental Combat team, the unit in which longtime Hawaii U.S. Senator Daniel Inouye served during World War II.
