Back in the classroom, Milken Educator Award recipient Christopher Nunez and his students gather around his $25,000 Milken Educator Award check. His fourth graders build problem-solving skills through engaging hands-on activities, using measuring tapes and cubic tiles to design gardens and pools for their backyards during lessons on area and perimeter and creating iMovie videos on iPads on curriculum-linked topics in social studies, science and literature.
