Lowell Milken, founder of the Milken Educator Awards, tells the assembly that he believes teachers and principals have the most important job in our society: preparing young people for bright futures. Outstanding educators deserve to be celebrated like top athletes, actors and rock stars, which is why he founded the Milken Award more than 35 years ago. And today, one outstanding educator right here at Needham is going to receive this important national honor!
