The Californian guest is Greg Gallagher, senior program director of the Milken Educator Awards. He tells the assembly that teachers deserve just as much recognition as rock stars, actors and elite athletes, since they prepare all those people for successful futures. Every year, the Milken Family Foundation honors the best educators in the country—and this year, one of those superstar teachers is right here at Journey Elementary!
