The visitor from California is Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation. Teachers and principals, he tells the assembly, have the most important job in our society, but they get far too little recognition. More than 30 years ago, Mr. Milken created a special honor for outstanding educators ... and this year, one of those remarkable teachers is right here in Frankfort!
