The guest from California is Greg Gallagher, senior program director for the Milken Family Foundation. He tells the assembly that educators have the most important job in our society: preparing young people for success in life. But because teachers and principals are too seldom recognized for their work, the foundation created the Milken Educator Awards to celebrate outstanding educators—and this year, one of those Award-winning educators is right here in Jackson!
