Jonathan Cadena, You're AZ's Milken Educator!

 

 

Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, congratulates Jonathan Cadena on his Milken Educator Award. Milken tells the assembly that Cadena had asked his principal for the day off to take care of his infant son while his wife, also a teacher, attended a conference in Phoenix. To preserve the surprise, the principal told Cadena he had to come in because the district superintendent had asked to meet with him. "This was a pretty good day to come to work, right?" Milken says.
