Katherine Watkins, You're a TN Milken Educator!

Still shocked and trying to process the news, Katherine Watkins gets a congratulatory embrace from Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, as students, staff and guests continue their rousing ovation. As a member of the school leadership team, Katherine helps write pacing guides for Millington's curriculum. She takes the state Tennessee Educator Acceleration Model (TEAM) rubric seriously as a tool to consistently reflect on her practices and obtain constructive feedback. Outside of school, she attends AP training courses in order to improve student scores and understanding.
