Lisa Rodgers Wins CO Milken Award

The special guest is Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, who tells the assembly that teachers have the most important job in the country: preparing young people for bright futures. He created the Milken Educator Awards three decades ago to honor the nobility and dignity of teaching, which, unlike other professions, is too seldom recognized, "a sharp contrast to what we see every day in athletics and entertainment."
