Surprise, Principal Timothy Thomas: You’re an AZ Milken Educator!

 

 

After sharing several clues, Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation (MFF), tells Rogers Ranch that one outstanding educator at the school is about to receive the Milken Educator Award, a national honor. The Award also comes with a cash prize—but how much? One digit at a time, Milken asks students to hold up cards representing the amount of the Award. When Bonnie Somers, MFF's senior vice president of communications, brings in a third zero, the crowd gasps, then roars with applause: $25,000!
