Kara Davis Wins Arkansas Milken Educator Award

It's the best kind of #KleenexMoment! Fourth-grade teacher Kara Davis wipes away tears as she processes the news: She has won the 2016-17 Arkansas Milken Educator Award and an unrestricted cash prize of $25,000. Veteran Miken Educator Dr. Gary Stark (AR '01), CEO of the National Institute for Effectiveness in Teaching, represents the Milken Family Foundation at the surprise notification.
