Principal Stephanie Conklin holds her blue Milken Educator Award envelope as she talks with Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, after her surprise Award notification. A former fourth- and fifth-grade teacher, Conklin is a data-driven leader who focuses on purposeful professional development. Brougham Elementary consistently ranks in the top five of the district’s 35 elementary schools.
