Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, asks Brittany Matsushino's students what they're reading in her class. One project Matsushino does with her 10th-grade students is called HALAMA (Historical/Literary/Movie Analysis), combining reading, research, analysis and presentations about students' real-life heroes.
