Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, tells the assembly that the Milken Educator Award includes a cash prize. Is $2,500 enough? When Jack Aquino, a Milken Family Foundation representative, brings up the last zero and raises the award amount to $25,000, the students raise a deafening cheer.
