Biotech Teacher Nicki Derryberry Wins AZ Milken Award

 

 

Diane Douglas, Arizona superintendent of public instruction, steps to the podium to address the assembly. Introduced by Mesa Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Michael Cowan as "a passionate advocate of Arizona education for many, many years...devoted to improving education in Arizona so that all students can learn and achieve," Douglas tells the students that education paves the way for their future success. "The great thing about our education system in this country is that you can go and realize your dreams," she says.
