Principal Chandler Smith Wins Milken Award in Louisiana

An emotional Chandler Smith accepts his Milken Educator Award. The past few years at Plaquemine High School have been hard as he and his colleagues have tried to improve the school's academic performance, with lots of late nights. He calls the Milken Educator Award "the highlight of my career." Smith plans to use the $25,000 award to pay off his student loans from graduate school.
