Brandon Sportel is '14–15 CA Milken Educator

 

Brandon proudly shows Milken Family Foundation Chairman and Co-Founder Lowell Milken around his special education classroom.

Each one of Sportel’s students has a physical, mental and/or behavioral disability, but he believes in every student’s ability to learn, regardless of their challenges. Brandon is known for going above and beyond to help his students succeed and is seen as a leader at his school and across the district when it comes to strategies for special and regular education students.

"I try to come to work every morning with a brand new brain and without any pre-judgment," said Brandon.
